Pump Organ Restorations specializes in the restoration of all
makes and models of antique pump organs (sometimes called reed
organs) to their original beauty. Bringing them back to their
original splendor requires training, skill, experience and a
fair amount of time.
I'm Rod Fudge, and I own and operate Pump Organ
Restorations. We may not be as old as Atlanta (where we're
located), but on my web site you'll find a wealth of information about
antique pump organs and the repair and restoration
services I provide throughout a large part of the United
States. You'll find descriptions of those services,
including exactly what's involved and how long it's likely
to take. So have fun, browse around a bit, and I can
almost guarantee you're going to learn something new.
« Regarding the picture you see
here:
It only looks like a piano! At one time there was a style
of pump orgran built by a few pump organ companies that looked
like pianos. The stops, found above the keys, were located just
left and right of the keyboard and were about a third the size
of regular stops. You can't see them very clearly in this
picture, but they're there!
