Rescue Shelter for Unwanted Pump Organs

For one reason or another some people can find themselves in
the dilemma of needing to get rid of a pump organ.
If you are ever faced with the unfortunate circumstance that
requires you to part with your pump organ, or if you are unable
to sell it, or even give it away and would still like to find
it a good home -- there’s hope!
I operate a small pump organ “rescue shelter” -something
like an animal shelter -- that rescues pump organs from
becoming part of a communities’ municipal land fill -- what a
tragedy!
If you are ever faced with such a dilemma, you’re welcome to
give me a call at 770-595-3537 and we can
discuss your dilemma.
In addition, I've come up with a few other ideas that have
worked well in the past:
- Try and find a friend
- Most states have historical societies that are looking
for items that they can add to their collection.
- Local or area museums are also very good candidates to
take in an antique pump organ.
- Assisted living centers are generally interested in
them because they’re fun entertainment
- Music departments in colleges and universities might be
interested in having a historical instrument.
- An elementary school or day care center may be
interested in having a piece of musical history and for
some entertainment
- I know some people who have had a pump organ restored
and have then donated it to a worthy cause. They can then
declare it as a charitable contribution and write it off on
their income tax.
I’m sure there are other possibilities. These are just a few
ideas.
